I grew up in Torbay, Newfoundland. I’m A full-time X-Ray Technologist, and this is my fourth year learning and loving photography.

I started taking landscape and wildlife pictures in 2019, after a move from St. John’s to Marystown, on the Burin Peninsula. As an avid hiker, I hiked and adventured as much as I could, and had no idea about the beauty that was hidden on this underrated peninsula of Newfoundland. I bought a Canon Rebel XT for $60 off of a coworker’s friend, and it was then I realized that I had a new hobby. Some of my favourite pictures are that of old fishing villages, and abandoned houses around the Burin Peninsula, especially in Grand Bank.

I moved to Bonavista, and then onto Clarenville, where I was just a short drive away to capture the famous puffins in Elliston, and stunning sunsets in Bonavista, until I moved back home to St. John’s in December 2022.

My favourite subjects to capture are the rocky shores and landscapes of Newfoundland, and any wildlife along the way on my hikes. I’ve recently started a portrait photography portfolio, but my wheelhouse will always be outdoors!

I’m still very new to photography, but I love sharing my work with people who appreciate the beauty of Newfoundland just as much as I do.
